an athlete run a certain distance before taking a leave because stop quickly will stop the blood circulation immediately but if you will stop slowly than your body will recieve the oxygen which he wants .

prachi6741: i am not getting what u have written
suprit1729: when the athlete is in Race then due to high velocity, rate of blood circulation in his or her body is at very fast rate or you can say that there is very high blood pressure and if he would stop suddenly after completing the race then due to high blood pressure ,blood from nose may come....so to prevent this he continues to run and he comes to rest slowly so that his blood pressure may become normal

Actually when the athlete was running then his rate of blood circulation was very fast. and when he stops suddenly then due to high blood pressure blood clotting may occur so to prevent this he runs even after he has completed the race so that his blood pressure and blood circulation become normal to his mean rate of blood circulation
