Explanation:

 • The orange with the peel floats because the peel is porous and filled with tiny air pockets. These pockets of air help increase the buoyancy of the orange. ... Therefore, the orange without the peel is denser than water and it sinks.

When a peeled orange is placed in water, it sinks. The unpeeled orange floats on the water. This happens because the unpeeled orange has a porous peel which contains tiny air pockets.

༺ʰᵒᵖᵉ ⁱᵗˢ ʰᵉˡᵖˢ༻

<marquee style="color:#fff;"> «------•}I|[ᴍᴀʀᴋ ᴍᴇ ᴀs ᴛʜᴇ ʙʀᴀɪɴʟɪᴇsᴛ ᴀɴᴅ ғᴏʟʟᴏᴡ ᴍᴇ]|I{•------»
</marquee>
