Hi there,

☆Electric conductivity depend on the free charges which exist in the solution and transfers towards the different pole

☆ Free charges may are electrons which transfers in wires or ions which transfers in solutions

☆ Base is dissociates in water into free ions so , it can conduct the electricity

NaOH + H2O = Na^+ + OH^-

♡ Hope the answer is helpful

The charged particles ions are present in the aqueous solutions Hydrogen and hydronium ions. ... Bases also conduct electricity in aqueous solution. Bases are also electrolytes that give ions in aqueous solutions and these ions help to conduct electricity.
