Even though the tribe was extremely poor, they were still known for their trust and honesty. Aram claimed that they were proud first, honest next, and after that they believed in right and wrong. Nobody could ever guess from where did they get money to fill their bellies. With such poor financial conditions they still managed to keep their hallmark of honesty unstained. They could never take advantage of anybody so, stealing food or anything for that matter was simply against the pride of the tribe.
