Why does atomic mass not considered as main factor in modern periodic table

Because the Periodic Table is arranged in terms of chemical properties of substances; the massdoesn't affect the chemical property, whereas the atomic number (thenumber of protons) does. It WAS firse arrabged by atomic mass.
