Why does bacteria and plant shown least variation ?
Bacteria reproduce by asexual method. So the variation in bacteria can only occur through mutation which can be reduced due to the cell wall. Similarly for plants, Despite the recombination in plant the variations are relatively less when compared to animal or protozoan cells. Since they don't have cell wall and are more prone to mutations due to radiation.
- Bacteria and plants have cell wall that enable them to withstand in strong conditions.
