Answer: The poet of the poem "how to tell wild animals" is Carolyn Wells. He writes in the poem to never allow any animal to leap on you. If he leaps on you then no matter how much you cry, he will rub your skin harshly.

Also he deceives the bear hug to be friendly but when the actual bear will hug someone, it won't be friendly.

He describes the weird behavior of animals in the poem "how to tell wild animals".
