Why does benzylic halide show greater reactivity through SN1 mechanism than primary alkyl halide???

In SNĀ¹ mechanism, there's an intermediate carbocation formed. Since carbocation is more stabilised in benzyl halide then in primary halide, so the reaction favours more benzyl halide than primary halide.
