why does blood ozze out when there is a slight cut on your body

When our skin is cut by a sharp object we have punctured most possibly a vein, many of which run throughout our body. As the vein is cut open, the blood oozes out from the opening until a clot is formed to prevent blood loss. The clotting time of a minor cut is generally 2 to 3 minutes, but severe cuts may bleed for about 8 to 20 minutes which can cause severe blood loss, sometimes leading to death.

the blood ooze out when there is a slide cut on body because the pressure of blood in bloodvessel inside body is more than the atmoshpheric pressesure so with a cut blood try to come out from the body...
