Due to boiling there is breakdown and coagulation of the protein which is present inside the egg.
Explanation:
- the egg mainly consists of albumin as the main protein. When it is heated there is is coagulation of the protein. On coagulation it becomes condensed and hence there is is formation of a solid mass which can be seen in boiled egg.
- However pasta mainly consists of carbohydrate. When it is added in boiling water the water diffuses inside the pasta and as a result of this it becomes soft
