Why does bread taste sweet when chewed for some time ?

in our mouth, the saliva mixes with food. so after chewing, the saliva breaks the carbohydrates present in the bread into simple sugar. so it tastes sweet.

THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE BREAKING DOWN OF GLUCOSE  IN OUR MOUTH BY THE SALIVA.
