the scattering of blue component of the white sunlight by and molecules present in the atmosphere causes the blue colour of the sky.

When sunlight passes through the atmosphere most of the longer wavelength lights such as Red Orange Yellow extra present in it do not get scatter much for the air molecules and hence Pas Straight Through The shorter wavelength blue light is Harbour scattered All Around The Sky by and molecules in the atmosphere whichever direction balok some of the scattered blue light enters our eyes and then the sky appears blue..

Hope it helps you dear!
