Why does cold air exert more pressure than warm air?

The cold air exerts more pressure because of the water vapor, effect.


The air that has humid is always lighter and denser hence will exert less pressure than the dry air at the same temperature.


This is because of the water molecules that are present in the air that makes the air heavier than at of the dry air molecules.
