Why does colour of chewed rice and boiled rice different when iodine solution is added to them?

hey buddy !! here's your answer....
there is a difference of colour as...
➡️chewed rice doesn't contain starch as our mouth has enzyme salivary amylase which digests the starch present in food . so iodine's colour remain unchanged that is brown.
➡️while boiled rice has starch .so its colour becomes blue black in presence of iodine.

The boiled rice which was not chewed will turn blue black when we put iodine solution....
Saliva will break down the starch into sugar when iodine solution is mixed.and does not turn blue black in colour when drops of iodine solution is mixed with chewed boiled.
