Mountain are at higher altitudes and therefore cokking become difficult.
If their is higher altitudes means the atmospheric pressure will be low and thus the Boling point will also be lower.
Hence,at higher altitude like at mountain the food need to be cooked for long time.

Hello dear your answer
Cooking becomes hard at mountain because of the pressure and temperature ,if pressure is low that means boiling point is also low. Water boils at 100°c and as boiling point is low so the water and food is also not cooked as in mountain if we boil water or cook food we see that the water is booking up and as soon as we put a food in water it seems that it is cooking but it is not because of a low pressure and low boiling point
Hope it helps you dear
