Why does cool air desert pressure then warm air

Convection in the atmosphere creates the planet's weather. It's important to know that warm air can hold more moisture than cold air. When warm air near the ground rises in a low pressure zone, it cools.  Since it can then hold more moisture, the descending air will evaporate water on the ground.
