Why does curd set and turn sour faster in summer than in winter?

CURD SET AND TURN FASTER IN SUMMER THAN IN WINTER BECAUSE in summer season the temperature becomes high and the bacteria that is present in the curd starts to multiplying it ( increases it's rate). so that the curd becomes sour.
If we put the curd in the refrigerator then it will not turn sour faster as the temperature is low.

As we know during summer , 'cause of the raising of temperature there is more chances of formation of lactic acid due to the multiplication of bacteria lactobacillus..
