Due to the high temperature. Bacteria responsible for making curd are active high temperature not at low temperature .So that curd set faster in summer than winter.

Curd sets faster in summer than in winter. The reason behind the statement is that the bacteria needs warmth to turn milk into curdso in summer the tempertature is warm, hot and humid which helps the bacteria to turn the milk to the curd. While in winter the temperature is low and much more cooler. Hence, the reason behind the setting of curd in summer is much more faster than in winter.
