why does curd set faster in summers than in winters?

At warm condition bacteria turn the milk into curd. So in summer the temperature is high and favourable for the bacteria growth. As a result, the bacteria multiply faster which leads to change the milk into curd. That iss why it takes more time in winter for thecurd to set compare to summertime.
