why does current flow from negatibe to positive....??

Flow of electrons take place from an electron rich to electron deficient substane when they are kept in contact on joined by a conducting wire. This is the flow of electrons but conventional current flows in the opposite direction i.e. it flows from positive end to tje negative end outside the cell .
