➡️Answer: In a combination reaction two or more substances are combined to form new substance while in the decomposition reaction one substance decomposes into two or more substances. Hence, the decomposition reactions are called opposite of combination reactions.

➡️Combination reactions are thosereactions in which two substances arecombined to form a new substance. In above examples, both the reactions are same but show oppositedirections, so decomposition reactionis called the opposite of combination reaction.

Heya!
--------

➰Combination Reaction :
========================

♦A Reaction in which two or more reactant combine together to form a single product .

=> A + B ------------------> C

Ex. 2H2 + O2 -----------------> 2H2O

➰Decomposition Reaction :
=========================

♦A Reaction in which a single compound splits apart into two or more products is called decomposition reaction .

♦It's of three types =>

〰Thermal Decomposition ( Heat )

〰Elctro lytic decomposition ( electricity )

〰Photo lytic decomposition ( sunlight )

➰A --------------------> B + C

Ex. 2H2O ---------------------------> 2H2 + O2

== ( electricity )

✔Hence Both the reaction are opposite to each other !!
