Why does degree of dissociation of weak electrolyte decreases in presence of strong electrolyte

This can be explained with the help of

LE CHATELIAR'S PRINCIPLE.

Any strong electrolyte will dissociate completely to give common ions with that of weak electrolytes. This process will prevent weak electrolytes from dissociating.
