Why does discrimination take place?

Now-a-days discrimination is taking place because of colour, race, cast,etc. And some uneducated people are killing the fetus in the womb it self. Because of this also there is discrimination. Their is discrimination even between the common people and the people who are in power. Hence, there are many reasons for the causing of discrimination
