Distilled water do not conduct electricity whereas rain water decause distilled water contain less ions than than the rain water

and electrcity requried ions to travel

For a liquid to conduct electricity, it must contain free ions. Distilled water does not contain free ions and so electricity cannot pass through it. Rainwater has ions dissolved in it and hence it conducts electricity.
