=> distilled water does not conduct electricity because it's fully pure and doesn't contain ions.

now, how can we make it conducting??

=> we can add salt in it to make it conducting.

Hi there !!

Distilled water does not conduct electricity. We know that an electrolyte,which is a substance that conducts electricity, is a solution of an acid , base or salt.
Distilled water is pure water and is neither made up of a salt nor an acid or a base. This means that distilled water is a bad conductor of electricity.

We can dissolved some common salt , which is a salt, we can add some lemon juice , which is acid or we can also add some soap , dissolved in water , which is a base , to make it conducting.
