why does distilled water not conduct electricity where as rain main water does​

Answer:

in distilled water there will be no mineral because it will be evaporated and it is pure,so electricity does not pass whereas rain water is rich in minerals so electricity pass. electricity will only pass where there is any hard mineral.

B/c it do not contain ions of metals like Mg+2, Fe+2,+3. etc whereas rainwater contains such type of ions of metals as Metals are good conductor of electricity .
