Pure water or distilled water does not conduct electricity. But , rainwater conduct electricity.     For electricity to travel through a liquid a movement of charge must  take place through the liquid. In tap water, rainwater, and seawater,  there are impurities like salt (Na +) and calcium (Ca 2+) and magnesium  (Mg2+) ions. Because these are charged when they move through water ,  electricity flows through liquid.      In distilled water, there are no impurities , there are no ions, there  are only neutral ( no charge) water molecules and these neutral  molecules don't have charge, so distilled water does not conduct  electricity.      Interesting rain water contains different amounts of these impurities , which are  charged ions, therefore water from different sources will conduct  electricity at different rates

☺ Hello mate__ ❤

◾◾here is your answer...

✒Distilled water(tap water) is a pure form of water and is not contain any type of ions . Therefore, it does not conduct electricity.

✒Rain water, being an impure form of water, contains many ions such as acids. hence, it conducts electricity.

I hope, this will help you

Thank you______❤
