Why does distilled water not conduct electricity where as rainwater does ?

because distilled water does not contain ions whereas rainwater is little acidic as its ph is less and therefore is contains H plus ions

This is because distilled water does not contain any free ions neither impurities coz its distilled.
whereas. rainwater contains free ions as well as impurities .
The Free ions present helps in conduction of electricity. And as rainwater. is a polar compound it does conducts electricity..
