why does distilled water not conduct electricity where as rain water does?​

Distilled water not conduct electricity because it is neutral whereas rain water consists of some acids .

Rain water mixes with impurities in atmosphere and conduct electricity by ions splitting of those impurities (acids) where as distilled water cannot split into ions because it is neutral
