Why does distilled water not conduct electricity, whereas rain water does?

I think the answer is:-
Distilled water does not contain any ions ( does not contain acids or minerals) which are essential for conduction of electricity while rain water is acidic and hence conduct electricity (as acids contains H+ ions as cation and also contains anions, which conducts electricity)
