✔Distilled water is water that has virtually all of its impurities removed through distillation.
✔Distillation involves boiling the water and re-condensing the steam into a clean container, leaving most if not all solid contaminants behind.
✔The conduction of electricity takes place through charges that is ions, as no ions are present in the distilled water it does not conduct electricity.

Distilled water is a pure form of water and is devoid of any ionic species. Therefore, it does not conduct electricity. Rain water, being animpure form of water, contains many ionic species such as acids andtherefore it conducts electricity.
