Explanation:

Drain smells foul because it is full of dirty stuff where thousands of mosquitoes and flies breed.. also there grow some microorganisms who give out this odour..

odour may also come out if hydrogen sulfide is produced by bacteria..in the drains..

so to fix those stinky drains you need to follow it:

dump a cup of baking soda down the drain. pour two cups of hot vinegar down the drain.(watch out it will fizz).then wait an hour and you can finally flush the drain with water.

Hope it helps..

Explanation

Nothing is worse than bad-smelling drinking water, and it's even worse when sewage odours are dripping from your tap. There are a number of potential causes for the sewage odour you're smelling, including but not limited to gases in your drain brought on by bacteria from food and waste or a problem with your hot water heater. It may also smell like dirt or rotten eggs.

Water that smells like sewage is typically caused by bacteria that have accumulated in your pipes. Typically, hydrogen sulphide has accumulated because your hot water heater is either running at a low temperature or hasn't been used for a while.
