Earth is the third planet in the solar system. It is not too far or too close to the sun. In the initial stages of life, due to the above reason the elements had proper tempertaure to combine to form life producing compounds. The heat of the sun is just enough to keep us warm. Hence, the Earth has optimum temperature conditions.
