why does earth spin? why can't it just stand still.what gravitational force has to do here?

Earth spin cause it is necessary for the survival of life on planet Earth.There will be no seasons like monsoon , winter , summer of earth stops spinning , and one thing here to focus on is earth is located in a comfortable zone in our solar system , if earth is like mercury , sun may be locked it in its gravitational field, and the Earth will no longer able to spin , cause sun's gravitational force would locked it ! and we human beings will not survive anymore ! there are planets in our universe which is tidally locked in its stars gravitational field ...
so the Earth is beautiful, elegant , wonderful planet in the universe cause I don't think there is any other planet which is more beautiful than our planet earth .

they rotate cause of inertia .... our galaxy is nothing but a spinning disk of dust so the planets are following the law of inertia ....... exception are Uranus and Neptune
