Why does earth support life ?(I want answers in points) for class 9

Earth is unique in the Solar System as being the only planet which is able to support life in all its forms - from basic living micro-organisms to highly sophisticated and intelligent human beings. 

1) Water

Water is believed to be the most important chemical necessary for life. It contains the oxygen needed for life. Other liquids contain poisonous elements. Water doesn't burn skin (like liquids containing acids do), it is drinkable, and it allows life-providing molecules to move around easily.

2) Sun

Put simply, if there was no Sun, there would be no life on Earth. Technically, Earth probably wouldn't exist either! Because of Earth's ideal distance from the Sun, it receives the perfect amount of heat and light to allow life to be created and to support it.

3) Climate

Earth has a suitable climate. This is caused by the moderate amount of carbon dioxide in the planet's atmosphere, which is constantly refreshed whenever there is a volcanic eruption

Earth supports life because Earth is made up of the lithosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. These three parts of Earth combine together to create the biosphere. This Biosphere supports life.

• It is defined as the earth’s part which consists of lands, rocks or says territorial things.
• Trees, plants, and animals exist in the lithosphere. This provides shelter for living things.

Hydrosphere:

• It is defined as the earth’s area which contains water bodies like Lakes, River, Sea, and Ocean.
• Aquatic animals live in the hydrosphere.
• This provides shelter for aquatic animals and provides water which is essential for various living organisms.

Atmosphere:

• It is defined as the earth’s area which contains air and other gases in it.
• These gases play a vital role in various organisms and for various metabolic activities.

Biosphere:

• The combination of these three parts of Earth results in the biosphere where life is supported.
