Current always flows from positive to negative. We know current is defined as flow of negative charges but negative charges means electrons and electrons attract toward positive electrode. But the basic reason to define current direction from positive to negative is nature behavior. If you ponder on nature, you will observe that water flows from higher to lower level, Heat flows from hotter to cooler side. There are so many examples that follow this nature behavior (from high to low) to fulfill the stable condition except current. So scientists decide current direction in the same manner and defined current the flow of positive charge rather than negative so named it conventional current. In the whole Electrical Engineering current direction is assumed to flow from positive to negative.
