The atoms in the hot end will vibrate more than the atoms on the cold end. The hotter atoms will push on their neighbors, transferring some of their thermal energy to them. ... Now, if heat transfer from higher to lower temperature, the availability of amount of energy (heat) transfer will reduce and entropy will increase.
