endocytosis is the process in which flexible cell membrane engulfs in food and other material from its external environment.this process occurs in animal cells
since plant cells have cell wall,it covers the cell membrane from external environments and thus provide hinderance for materials from external environmemt to come inside. this is the reason why endocytosis is not found in plants.
