why does evaporation cool a liquid .please short ans.... :)

evaporation absorbs the heat from neighbouring molecules of liquid to evaporate some molecules of that liquid in this way by evaporating a liquid the process cool down the remaining liquid.

the remaining particles in the liquid have lower Kinetic energy than before .so evaporation cool a liquid . This is why sweating cool you down.
