Like humans, fish also require oxygen to survive..
Oxygen is produced by the process of photosynthesis and consumed by the process of respiration..light is essential requirement for these processes to occur  that is it occurs only during day time . in daytime, thermal stratification that is different temperature at different depth accounts for the warmer water near the surface of the lake which means very less dissolved oxygen while deep water is having plenty of dissolved oxygen that is why fishes tend to go deep during daytime for survival..

hope it helps u..!!

Dear sameet,
Like humans, fish also needs oxygen to survive. As water enters along their breathing area,
very small bubbles of oxygen are formed and are transferred from water to their blood, this oxygen is called as dissolved oxygen.

akhilmulagada: at the daytime humans come for fishing to save them from danger they go deep in water
