Answer:

Amoeba has exchange of gases through its body because of the large surface area which helps them to take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. As their surface area is huge as compared to the volume that is why they take the advantage of the same and use their body for the exchange.

Answer:

Amoeba and other single cellular organism do not have specialized gas exchange surface , thus they can do gaseous exchange through entire surface. But in case of human respiratory surface is covered with thin, moist Epithelial cells that allow oxygen and carbon dioxide to exchange. Those gas can only coss cell membrane when they are dissolve in water , thus respiratory surface must be moist.
