why does glass apearse hazzy if not wiped for some times?

Air has some gases, water vapours and dust particles that stick to transparent glass of windows. These particles attract other outdoor elements such as pollen, etc to collect on glass and make a layer. So, transparent glass if not wiped off appear hazy.
