due to trivalency covalent bond.So every bond an atom left which helps to conduct electricity.It is the only non-metal which conduct electricity.

Graphite is called good conductor of electricity so it conduct electricity because in graphite free electron are present which drifted negative to positive when there is potential difference result production of current .
