Why does Graphite conduct electricity? Covalent bonds cant conduct electricity? then y graphite does? PLZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz Answer! :) Thannks!

in graphite ,the carbon bonds are only three but carbon should have 4 bonds to satisfy its valency.but in graphite it only has 3 bonds where one bond is free.so the free bond conducts electricity.if you see diamond and others ,they have all 4 bonds satisfied that is why they dont conduct electricity wheras graphite does.

Hiiii......
I don't know why graphite conduct electricity.....but I am sure that covalent bonds can conduct electricity .When water which is a covalent bond (of 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen ) can conduct electricity , then why can't the graphite....
