global warming

The natural greenhouse effect has kept the earth warm for millions of years.

When we started burning fossil fuel and cutting down the forests much more greenhouse gas went into the atmosphere.

This is causing the enhanced greenhouse effect when all the extra gas warms up and holds in the heat.

This has led to global warming.

Excessive use of fossil fuels has increased the levels of greenhouse gases like CO2 and CH4 which retain the heat radiated by the sun, consequently increasing the temperature of the earth's atmosphere.

The greenhouse effect is the main cause of global warming.

The Earth's atmosphere has the job of reflecting ultraviolet radiation and trapping infrared heat in the atmosphere, preventing the Earth from getting too cold. In the Greenhouse Effect gases such as methane and carbon dioxide can gradually heat up the Earth more than needed, or in other words, causing global warming.

A:Strictly speaking, the greenhouse effect does not cause global warming. The greenhouse effect is a natural process that keeps the earth warm. Therefore the greenhouse effect does not cause global warming. However the impact of greenhouse effect is enhanced by human activities (deforestation, fossil fuel combustion etc). This enhanced greenhouse effect is what causes global warming as these processes increase the levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere! Thus the increase in concentration of greenhouse gases is the problem.

Answer: The green gases are methane carbondioxide e.t.c these gases abosorb gases grom atmosphere very fast but they do not radiate back into the atmosphere so that the atmosphere become very warm and leads to the global warming.
