Arum plant, including the berries, is quite poisonous, hence the itchiness. It also has an ample amount of needle shaped crystals of calcium oxalate, called Raphides, which causes discomfort.

In order to get rid of the itchiness, it is advisable to take a cold shower. A cold patch or aloes vera gel or even vegetable peels can be applied on the affected skin to soothe it.
