Why does Harappan civilisation called Indus Valley Civilisation?​

It is called so because the ruins of the civilization was found in the town of Harappa. Harappan Civilization is sometimes referred as the 'Indus Valley Civilization'because most of main cities or sites are situated in the banks of river Indus river and in it's tributaries.
