wherever we look there is madness for money; infact money can be termed as a metaphor for the word madness. And since the multitude as a whole is mad, so every person in this world carries his share of this madness-- his share of this insane race after money.greed people have over money. The society will be selfish and break if people always thought of money and worked for it. The speaker was afraid of that. It is money that stresses the mind, and ultimately the stress is reflected in the behavior.People today are so invested in the race to aggregate money that they are willing to sacrifice their morals and even sanity.entire mankind to change its perception and outlook about money. The poet begins expressing his annoyance by terming man's attitude to money as 'collective madness'. Each human being is 'insane' about money.
