why does herbivores have longer small intestine than carnivores?

Ans: The small intestine is longer in herbivore than in carnivore because herbivores eats only grass which is full of cellulose. the digestion of cellulose takes long time. but for carnivores, itneed small time for digestion as it takes only flesh of herbivores.

Herbivores eating grass need a longer small intestine to allow the cellulose to be digested. Whereas Meat is easier to digest, hence carnivores like tiger have shorter small intestine.
