HIV is not transmitted through saliva. It could be transferred only through certain body fluids .. Even if a person consumes a food which contains saliva of an infected person it is very rare for the person to get HIV. The virus are destroyed by the stomach acids and other fluids . But if the food contains blood of an infected person there are chances of transmission of disease. The HiV virus survives or spreads only through certain body fluids but not through saliva
